One Thing 2006 Last Day

We're tired, we're wasted, and we're still alive... Suwheet Thank you Jesus for strengthening us. Today is tear down day so between 12 and 4 AM tomorrow morning (which really is tonight) while you are all snuggled in your beds, say a prayer for us. This conference was silky smooth for the IT guys. Happy 2007 to everyone who reads this blog. May the Lord continue to bless you with His abounding Grace and Mercy.

IHOP IT Dept

I work with some awesome men of God who have it their life mission to do the will of the Father. This week we move from a half rack into a full rack at our colocation in downtown KC. Don't worry if you don't understand the terminology! Remember when Ethan Hunt dropped suspended in the high tech computer room in Mission Impossible? It's kinda like that but nothing like that.

But (you might be wondering) doesn't moving from a 1/2 rack to a full rack mean you have to shut main servers down? Doesn't that mean you have to turn off the database? The website? The payment server? The streaming server?

Yeah, you probably don't even remember the website being down do you? The IT Dept is committed to rocking and then rolling. Wham! Slam! We're in and then we're out. Thanks guys you ROCK! Javier, John, Jack. It's great to be working along side some great skills, talents, abilities, and tireless always at work guys like you. OK enough before you ask me for a tissue.

Did you buy a Nintendo Wii? If you did you need to check this out. Seems that the flimsy remote control strap is prone to snappage when you get down and dirty gaming. So if you got one, be careful or you just may give your TV, wall, or cat the brutal bash.

Case in Point:
I am here in my house not wanting to even think about how cold it is outside. My wife in her art room doing her art. When all of sudden I hear HONK HONK outside and then my fone rings. It's my bud Jack in the earlier post: "Come outside dude, quick!" So I pile on 3 jackets and head out into -80 Billion degress, that's right negative 80 Billion degrees. I go over to his van and BOOM just like the bomb that he is, he hands me 2 piping, steaming hot cocoas complete with whipped cream. You are the BOMB Jack! Mia says Thanks too!

So my boss, and best friend actually, Jack Hill is a mega Little Boy and Fat Man all in one super atomic bomb! His tact, skills, and innate abilites are sharpened to precision. Wow, I pray that someday I could deliver like that.

24 Hour Live Worship and Prayer has been going strong in Kansas City at IHOP for seven years.

The IHOP webstream has been fulfilling public subscriptions for almost a year.

GodTV has been in the U.S. since October 1, 2006. They have channel 365 on Direct TV and are now piped into over 15 million households.
