A movie you must see

I watched a really provocative film yesterday titled "Who Killed The Electric Car". I encourage you to check it out, read about it, find out because it comes to light at the perfect time when the Big 3 is wanting a bailout.

My view on the subject is a no brainer: the auto industry makes vehicles that they want you buy, not vehicles that you want to buy!

I have recently come across the best utility I have ever seen on the internet. Do you have countless people asking you the most random questions? Do you wish you could just send them a tutorial on how to google stuff? Because, c'mon, admit it. When you get that random question you can't bring yourself to answer, "I don't know!"

I saw this article today and the pain and questions as a parent that rose up inside me I cannot describe to you in the is tiny blog. The courts of the State of Nebraska are meeting today to change their Safe Haven Law. Nebraska was the last state to pass a Safe Haven Law. The problem: The was no age limit. Read this story. Sweet 16 Monthday Birthday Today!

Another of the Beast

Here is another pic of the bright orange beast. As far as I know I am the third owner. The original was a Ford Dealership owner out in Nebraska who painted over her Springtime Yellow. He rarely took his prize-fighter for a spin and mostly showed it in parades.

When I met the next owners, they told me about how they tried to buy the car over several years but could never persuade the dude to sell to them. Then a few years after that man died they spotted the car sitting in a warehouse all dusty and covered up. They finally were able to buy the car and gave it to their son who used it as a daily driver in a small town in Nebraska.

All throughout his high school years he was the envy of all his classmates. Fast forward a few more years and the kid, who now is an adult, sets his eyes upon a sweet house to buy in Boston. He needs a down payment, looks at all his possessions, and opts to sell his sweet 'stang.

Thank heavens he sold because now I have an awesome ride that growls like a beast from within and screams away at every stoplight.

My Sweet Ride

One of the best things I have done in my life is invest in a classic automobile. I've always wanted to tinker with one and after about 7 years of research and planning I decided to get myself a sweet lil 66. So here she is, all signalflare and what not. This 40 yr old beast is so fun to drive around town, it gives me one more reason to dislike the winter season. So take a gander and feel free to drool over this sweet lollipop! I'll post more pics later.

Swimming Pool in Hibernation

I like swimming, a lot. Now, I'm no Michael Phelps or anything, but I do like to swim. I was out meandering this weekend when I noticed these crosses on the other side of the parking lot. As I got closer I realized I was looking into an empty swimming pool. Have a nice winter rest!
