Answered Wants

The cold spell that drifted over wonderful KC has lifted and God has answered my prayers for a couple more lovely days of warmth. I mean, c'mon, snow, ice, ice-storms! A desert lion has to get ready somehow... slow transition, SLOW, simmer down now. Hehe

So now we have 70ish goodness with $1.95ish gasoline for the Stang! Oh yeah baby! Thank the Lord!

Winter is upon us mis Amigos!

Ugh, the one season that is deplorable to me is Fall. Yeah, the leaves are changing into pretty colors and the heat from Summer is over, but for a southwestern muchacho like myself, I LOVE the SUN!

Just sitting there basking under the radiant bliss of warm goodness from that big ol' fireball puts a huge smile on my face. Well, farewell Summer, my friend, my love! Until next year. *sniff

So I came to the sudden realization, like a brick fallen from heaven smack down on my face, that my wife is a better blogger than me. Now, I have always known that she rocks me in all sorts of things, and now I have to admit, her blog is AWESOME! Take a gander, add it to your to-do everyday list. You will be happy you did.

I was reading one of my favorite blogs this morning. That story about senior citizen drivers reminds me of the time I was on Metcalf and this elder lady tooted her horn at me. I calmly, yet agressively poked my scary head out the window and said, "WHAT??" With a pale, greenish look on her face she waved frantically, "Nothing, nothing!" HehHeh

My brother in law is an awesome natural at photography. I hand over my 40D every chance I get because I know there will be some amazing shots when my baby comes back. Here is a perfect example.
